Rebecca Roberts - Secretary

Becky Roberts has worked at Smithville FUMC since March 2010. She is originally from Detroit, Michigan where she worked in the banking industry for 25 years. Her move to Smithville occurred in  2008. Becky is a member of Peace Lutheran Church Detroit (Missouri Synod) where she has served as their Coordinator of  Fundraising.  Becky has been a member of Peace for 42 years.  Prior to that she went to Messiah Ev. Lutheran Church from birth to 1971.  Becky attends Smithville First. She is the very proud mother of daughter Lindsay Michelle who has a BS in Communications and is now a paramedic at Vanderbilt in the ED and going to Vol State for Ultrasound.  Lindsay now resides in Smithville her with Mom.  Becky also has 2 grandcats that she loves very much.  Chaplin Appleton and Buster Keaton Roberts.

Marie Hill - Organist

Marie began her organ career over 45 years ago playing the Hammond organ at Smithville First under the tutelage of Mary Thomas.  She continued her study under Phil Horne, organist at Arlington United Methodist, and later for four years at MTSU under the direction of Margaret Wright.  She has played for churches in Lawton, Oklahoma; Fayetteville, North Carolina; and Jennings, Florida.  Also, she is the media specialist at DeKalb County High School.  She and her husband Tom have been married for over 40 years, and they have two children, Rebecca and David.

Mary Lynn Page - Pianist

Mary Lynn was born in Allen County,
Kentucky, and began private piano lessons
at a very early age from Wesley Tucker.  
​At age 16 she made a huge​move, with
parents 
Weldon and Marjorie Harris, to
Robertson, County, TN, 
(where she
graduated from High School) for her Dad to
 
begin his ministry in the UMC.  In 1961
they moved to 
DeKalb County.  She
taught private piano lessons, met 

Glen and they married in 1964.  In 1986 they,
along with 
their two daughters Pamela and
​Cynthia, began to attend 
Smithville FUMC
where she began her tenure as pianist.  
​
Their family has grown with the additions
of sons-in law  
Jack Anderson and Chris Vernon;
and two little grand daughters 
Lucia and Beatrice.
