Confirmation
One of the many spiritual growth experiences provided by The United Methodist Church is what is called 'confirmation' which confirms your faithful response to the love of God in Jesus Christ.
Confirmation refers to the decision a person makes to respond to God's grace with intentional commitment, publicly reaffirming his or her baptismal vows before the congregation and becoming members of the church.
We use CONFIRM, Your Faith, Your Commitment, God's Call. There are six units that have a total of 39 sessions.
In the end it is hoped that participants will learn how to live a 'holy' life by learning the applications of the three 'general rules' of the United Methodist Church which are: (1) Avoid evil; (2) Do good; and (3) Love God. Such is a brief summary of the Christian life made practical.
On May 12, 2019 we had 8 children go through class and joined the church on the profession of faith. We Rejoice!
